I saw the animated version of Doctor Who's "The Celestial Toymaker" tonight. I was very pleasantly surprised. The animation was top quality, and the story actually lends itself to the treatment. My only criticism is that Peter Purves is far more handsome than that in real life.

This is interesting. It looks like countries are favouring songs in their own language at Eurovision again. I'm rather in favour of it. Part of the attraction of Eurovision is that you get to hear the countries' own music rather than bland, generic, English language pop.
