That reaction was adorable! Stacey couldn't remember the last time she made anything like it happen. Felt amazing. "Nothing to say sorry about. We've been having a good time together. I look forward to more."

"Uh huh. Said that from the start; guess somebody had you so distracted that you forgot." Is she being playfully smug now? Yes. "You did awesome, regardless, so don't worry about it too much."

"Definitely both of us. Strawberry banana is pretty good, too, though. You got options every day," she sipped at her drink with a grin. Obvious which one Kara would stick with. "So, good first date thus far?"

Early start on #thiccthursday and being wide awake

"Looks like we found your official pick!" Stacey beamed, after a sip of her own smoothie. "You can reward yourself with one on good workout days, like today. Or just come get one anytime you want, that's an option, too."

"Well, it's just, like... something I learned when I was a kid." Rowan's genuinely holding back tears of happiness. "And I just want you to be careful, that's all..."

"Awwwww, Lara! You're so sweeeeet!"

"I can totally tell! I mean, you got yourself shot with an arrow goin' after something you read about. Nobody does that if they don't love what they're out there doing! Which meeeeeans: You, Lara, are awesome!"

"Uh huh. I'm super into people doing what they love."

"It's hella hot picturing you so focused."

"Where d'you even find out about somethin' like that?"

"Good." Forehead kiss. "What were you hunting down when you got poked?"

As if on cue, their order was done. Contentment glimmered in Stacey's eyes as she grabbed both drinks. "My strawberry banana, and for the lady: Orange peach pineapple. Give it a sip - lemme know your verdict!"

"Cool." Wonder what she must have been thinking about. Up yo the counter, Stacey ordered two smoothies: Strawberry banana for herself, and for her date, a top tier pick - orange peach pineapple. "You're gonna like it. Might be as sweet as I am."

Somehow, Stacey seemed even more excited to have reached this point. Her gaze soft, she eyed Kara for a moment. "You said you were good with any kind of smoothie, right?" That meant she would have to choose a good one.

"Uh huh. Follow me," a warm smile as the treadmill stopped and Stacey got off of it. Hips just naturally swaying as she leads the way to the juice bar.

"And don't let anybody else with it, either!" Totally not speaking from experience of being the kid always told to stop picking at a scab.

"Girl, no big! I'm always happy to help you. Just don't mess with it or you might get it all gross by accident."

Both were a factor for some people. Everyone had their own reasons. Inward, Stacey noted that her effort worked. Getting Kara to blush was a triumph that felt amazing. "You did really well today, nice job." Flirt a little more later. "Time for smoothies, now."

"You got it," already digging through the bag. Fresh bandage, gauze in hand. In a matter of moments, cleaned up and re-wrapped. "Be more careful, okay? I just got you, and Amazon doesn't have any more."

"Ow," she winced. "Okay, well, keep pressure on that. If it's all bloody and nasty still, gonna have to bandage it more. I thiiiink there's a first aid kit around, but otherwise, I could find something."

"What, like I'm gonna let my bestie bae stay hurt? As if. So, like... Did you get shot?"

"You literally need an extra hand for that. Lemme help."

Good. With Kara watching, Stacey was content. Almost grinning ear to ear. Speed lowered, she eased back into walking on the treadmill, showing off the jiggle of those buns with every step. Literal flirtation in motion. "Hey, Kara~"

It's fine. Maybe next time they come here, people who just witnessed her real strength won't be around. Now, Stacey just wanted the Kryptonian's attention on her. "Hey. Watch me now, yeah? I got cute today for you."

"Half," she spoke up. Moving faster on the treadmill, Stacey tried as much as she could to maintain a grasp on normalcy. Harder than usual around Kara, but at least she made things fun. A few onlookers went back to ogling Stacey after a moment. Casual gym activity, in her case.

"You're doing a lot," she answered. Stacey was still stunned by what she saw, trying to be subtle about it. "Tone it down a bit, Kara. Go easy - remember?"

Stacey's head turned, her shocked gaze catching sight of the spectacle Kara was putting on. The exact opposite of taking the workout at a regular, human strength. It took reminding herself just to keep most of her focus on running.

With Kara seemingly getting acclimated, Stacey raised the speed on the treadmill a bit, pace of her movement increasing along with it as she broke into a jog. Drawing stares in the process. So far, so good. The Kryptonian was blending in well enough.

A wink of her eye, as the treadmill session began. Nice and easy, Stacey started out walking. Light enough pace to observe Kara, while also showing off a little bit. Girl's just got so much bounce in that short-statured package.

When they arrive, the atmosphere is laced with the energy of patrons putting the work in. Stacey turned to Kara, a smile tugging at her lips. "Watch people, get a feel for how they do what they're doing, then do it yourself. I'll be close by, right over there on the treadmill. You got this, Kara!"

"Follow me," she smiled and guided the way, making a show of swaying her hips a little more with each step she took.

"Kara... it feels good to say it. And great to know a little bit more about you, now. So, with that done: Now we get gym time started!"

"Whatever works best for you is cool." A pause, for thought. "Hey. What's your name? Like, actual, not 'Supergirl' name. I wanna get used to saying it, when it's just us."

"You totally can. Just remember to blend in." Stacey may not be ready to see hundreds of pounds lifted with one hand. "Maybe after, you can look into some weights to keep at home."

"It's not hard to figure out. Take a few seconds to observe other people, do what they do," she explained. "And when you get that handled, put your attention on me." Grin, as she posed to show off her figure. "Think you get it?"

"Ready for you to do that. I'm doing cardio for today; hitting the treadmill. But remember: You're going at a regular, human strength, okay?" Strongly considering buying a compact one to keep at home, now that she thinks about it.

A literal second. Meanwhile, Stacey barely had the time to get started going to change. But the end result of it, when she came back, was her usual top-notch level.
