Maria Weimer benoemd tot hoogleraar Europese studies
Maria Weimer is aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam benoemd tot hoogleraar Europese studies, met een focus op EU-recht in de geesteswetenschappen. Met deze nieuwe leerstoel zal ze leiding geven aan een interdisciplinaire onderzoeksagenda op het snijvlak van geesteswetenschappen en recht. ‘Goed recht, dat onmisbaar is voor maatschappelijke vooruitgang, is fundamenteel afhankelijk van inzichten uit de geesteswetenschappen.’
