Amendment 24-A wins approval from a majority of presbyteries The amendment, approved by the General Assembly last year, adds ‘sexual orientation’ and ‘gender identity’ to categories protected from discrimination. #GA226 #LGBTQIA @pcusa.bsky.social

Amendment 24A receives needed votes to be added to the Book of Order. The lives, gifts, and leadership of LGBTQIA+ people are necessary for the church to thrive. We are thankful for the the commissioners of the #GA226 passing this and did presbyteries across the @pcusa.bsky.social for ratifying!
