This is the dark and dank dungeon of the ruined castle. There's probably a torture chamber nearby. You can go east, northeast, or upward. A small opening leads down as well.

You are on a wide lawn just north of the entrance to the Robner estate. Directly north at the end of a pebbled path is the Robner house, flanked to the northeast and northwest by a vast expanse of well-kept lawn. Beyond the house can be seen the lakefront.

This is an oubliette.

A small room with oddly angled walls and passages in all directions.

You are at the bottom of the sixteen-step stairway. The stairway goes up to the east, while to the west is solid plaster. Painted on the plaster are some hieroglyphs.

The Frigid River ends its long journey from Flood Control Dam #3 here, losing its speed and turning into a delta of meandering channels to the southwest. To continue northeast up the river, you'd need a boat and a number of strong oarsmen.

Standing on the south side of Bodanski Boulevard is the boarded-up Railroad Museum. The street runs east toward the park and west toward the square. North of here is a car lot and to the northwest is a huge cinema complex.

You're standing in front of the house where you spent many of your summers as a youngster. The old place is not as big as it seemed to you then, but it is still quite large. Stone pathways wind east and west around the house, and a larger main walkway leads north.

This is a particularly damp spot even by dungeon standards. You can see the junction to the west, and two similar passages to the east and northeast. A wide stone channel steeply descends into the room from the south. It is covered with slippery moss and lichen.

This is Mr. and Mrs. Robner's private bathroom, accessible only from the bedroom through a door to the west. On one wall is a mirror over a long counter containing two sinks, and in addition to the usual bathroom fixtures is a jacuzzi. Hanging plants give the room an almost tropical atmosphere.

You are on Fremzi Stret, halfway between Brzni to the north and Besnap to the south. A vacant lot sits to the west; two buildings rise to the northeast and southeast, but access to the inside is on Ostnitz Street.

As if this hasn't already been a rough enough day, you have stumbled upon a spawning ground for Venusian slime beasts.

This is approximately the middle of the corridor, a convenient place for a closet full of linens. Stairs to the east and a window to the west are about equidistant. The closet, to the north, is open and rather shallow.

You are standing in the room of the protective goddess Neith. This room seems dark and mysterious with its decorations of inky-blue lapis lazuli and jet-black obsidian. Gold scrollwork defines an area on one of the walls, in the center of which is the symbol of Neith.

This is the formal dining room. To the south is the long hall, to the east the kitchen. A crystal chandelier dominates the room, hanging over a large walnut table. On the east wall convenient to the kitchen is a long sideboard. On the north wall is a china cabinet.

You are below the surface of the lake. It turns out that the lake is quite shallow and the bottom is only a few feet below you. Considering the frigid temperature of the water, you should probably not plan an extended stay. The lake bottom is sandy and a few hearty plants and algae live there.

River Street, off to the east, ends here at Park Street, which curves from the south to the northwest. A stadium skycar lot is on the west side of Park, and some sort of athletic field is to the southeast. All along the north side of River Street is a vast expanse of placid water, Rockvil Reservoir.

This is a long and narrow corridor where a long north-south passageway briefly narrows even further.

This must be the sanitary facility for the adjacent dormitory. The fixtures are dry and dusty, the room dead and deserted. You marvel at how little the millenia and cultural gulfs have changed toilet bowl design. The only exit is north.

This is a small balcony carved into a near-vertical cliff. To the east, stretching from north to south, stands a monumental aqueduct supported by mighty stone pillars, some of which are starting to crumble from age.

This is a narrow east-west passageway. There is a narrow stairway leading down at the north end of the room.

This is another small booth. Unlike the Miniaturization Booth, this room has no slot or keyboard, so presumably it is intended only as a receiving station. The exit is on the northern side.

You are at the northern end of the wharf. There is a dock to the west.

A wide underground road runs north and south. There's an eye-catching sign next to a tunnel leading west.

You are in the center of a large courtyard, which surrounds you in all directions. Directly in front of you, to the east, is a large temple flanked by two smaller towers.

You are in the Galley area of the ship, containing a machine which is the state of the art in Nutritional Technology, a Sirius Cybernetics Corporation Nutrimat. There is an exit to starboard.

This room looks like it was once a kennel for a very large dog (some of the bones would fit a dinosaur). It apparently hasn't been used for a long time, as the dust is fairly thick all over. The only exit is northeast.

This is a sand-filled cave whose exit is to the southwest.

You are in the orchid section of the garden. Tender orchid petals of every color surround a small pond here. The stone walkway leads north, southeast and southwest.

This bright, airy hallway runs northwards from the living room to the apartment door. Tall, arched entrances lead east and west, and the bath is down a few steps to the southwest.

A trail from the north ends here. To the west is a decaying hut.

This is a medium-sized room with a door to the north which is open. A control panel contains an Up button, a Down button, and a narrow slot.

You are at the southern edge of a great cavern. To the south across a shallow ford is a dark tunnel which looks like it was once enlarged and smoothed. To the north a narrow path winds among stalagmites. Dim light illuminates the cavern.

A ring corridor joins the blue hall here. There is an entrance (presumably for the blue docking area) below, and also a way up.

You are lost in the middle of the open ocean. There is no land in sight.

This is a small room whose far wall is covered with many small cubbyholes, all empty. The left wall is covered with an enormous map, labelled 'Kalamontee Kompleks', showing two installations connected by a long hallway. Near the upper part of this map is a red arrow saying 'Yuu ar heer.'

This is a small room containing a large oblong table, no doubt set for afternoon tea. It is clear from the objects on the table that the users were indeed mad. In the eastern corner of the room is a small hole (no more than four inches high).

You are at the base of Flood Control Dam #3, which looms above you and to the north. The river Frigid is flowing by here. Along the river are the White Cliffs which seem to form giant walls stretching from north to south along the shores of the river as it winds its way downstream.

This spot halfway up the Lonely Mountain is desolate of vegetation. Short, stunted trees with branches empty surround you and the air is heavy and smoke-filled.

This is a separate room for a toilet only.

You stand amongst the ruins of a mighty castle. The only part of the castle that is more than a pile of rubble is to the north. A path leads out of the ruin to the south.

The corridor bends here, leading east and southwest. A doorway opens to the northwest, and a narrow stairway leads down to the north.

You are at the bottom of a gangway. A hatch below you is open.

A passage leads aft from this point on the ring corridor.

You are deep into the desert, as deep as anyone in his right mind would ever care to venture. A small but strong gust of wind reaches your face, pelting you with grains of sand so small they remind you of fine sugar.

This is a large rectangular room. The east and west walls were used for storing safety deposit boxes, but all have been carefully removed by evil persons. To the east, west, and south of the room are large doorways. The northern 'wall' of the room is a shimmering curtain of light.

This is a sprawling lawn west of the Robner house. To the west and north is the lake shore. To the northeast is a rose garden, and to the south another wide lawn.

Lit only with moonlight through the open window, tonight this room is serving as a ladies' dressing room. An exit lies to the north.

This grassy mall must have been a nice area at one time, but it is now overgrown with weeds, and soiled by windblown litter. The shade comes from a mighty elm which spreads its thick green branches over the park.

The starboard side of the Mary Margaret has the wheelhouse to port. The deck is well-worn after many years of use, but still solid. The ocean is off to the other side of the rail.
