Got some ideas for cover art for new and old songs. Thrift shop is the best bet, can find some gems there. Been slowly replacing my old ai cover art using real photos and editing them with Canva. Tbh, didn’t think about it when I first started, I was just focused on the music. No excuses, anymore.

The family and I have been binge watching some tv shows lately. Finished Breaking Bad, again. Almost done with Better Call Saul, finished Sons of Anarchy, GoT, The Boys. I prefer sci fi and fantasy but the family as a whole prefers crime drama it seems. What are some good crime dramas?

Even though I create, and save tons of Serum synth patches, I almost always create a new patches when I make a new song. I could just use some of my presets but that’s no fun. Sure it’s faster, but I like tinkering. Plus, sometimes you have happy accidents, and make something truly unique.

I took a small break from producing, just a week to play some video games and binge watch some movies/tv shows. It’s always good to recharge the creative juices, but now I have that urge to bang out some music. How often do you take breaks?

The “make your song length 3 mins or less” trend is utter BS. No, work on your writing, vibe, dynamics, performance, production and delivery and compose the song it’s meant to be composed. A really cool song that pulls all stoppers can go by quick. A poorly written one can drag like a snail.
