In today's reminder that recovery isn't linear, I got entirely dressed to go grocery shopping with my partner before realizing that I was getting a pain flare up and should stay home

It hasn't been a totally pain free day but it has been the first day since surgery that I haven't taken pain meds and that's progress

My 3 week post-op appointment was yesterday and was told that things are healing well 🩷 Still have activity restrictions until 6 weeks though

Just got my partner and I signed up for the final pottery class offered by our studio. Last step before we can apply to be members!

Just over two weeks post-op, getting a lot more self-sufficient, grabber still needed to pick things up off the floor, still living more horizontal than vertical, already a few inches into a new knit sweater

I think I managed to work out how to correct the error in the knitting pattern I'm working from. Otherwise having a good time with bubble stitches

Used the proper needles this time and still did not get a matching gauge without blocking. Maybe this will be the first time I ever block a swatch

I still think the funniest thing before my surgery was that they asked for a urine sample and it was solely to do a pregnancy test
