Painting is hard—there’s so much to consider. I realized I’ve been struggling with drawing because I forgot to think about perspective. But even now, it’s still difficult for me to focus on perspective while managing shapes at the same time. 😭

#OC I'm struggling because I keep making endless fixes. I wish I could draw well without needing to fix anything.

When the drawing is completed, I would like to introduce how I apply glazing to the artwork.

I saw a post written by a composer who used AI-generated images for his video, but it’s funny that he doesn’t realize those images make his work feel like cheap AI music because the composition of the images is messed up.

I suppose I should start with introducing myself but well I can do this now 😄 I'm freelance illustrator from Warsaw. I do mostly art for boardgames, covers and ttrpg. I love to paint fantasy characters and worlds and read fantasy books.

I have only focused on how to draw characters well, so I feel a lack of mood or themes in my drawings. I like fantasy and steampunk, but those elements don’t really come through in my paintings. Learning to paint feels endless.

I've been practicing Saito Naomi's learning method. It's fun to study what proportions professional artists use and how they exaggerate shapes. However, I still don't know how to use composition to make my background less awkward.

I recently came across a lecture course that teaches how to retouch AI-generated images. I'm not sure what’s so enjoyable about it. AI-generated images often feel saturated with clichés, making it challenging to create something truly fresh or original.

This is a character with the concept of often being mistaken for a con artist because of her facial features. She is designed to have large hands and feet, so getting the proportions right every time I draw them isn’t easy. #OC
