When shooting with Eva, I find myself looking for the connectivity of her expressions. With Lucy, however, the pose is such a part of her surroundings that I find myself backing away to place her in a context. The guarding shrubbery a green wall to protect the moment.

Are they emotions for ME or for the viewer? Are they emotions that exist in real time or are they a facade? We cannot know. We can only see what is placed in front of us.
