I’m watching Empire of the Sun. Can’t work out if I’ve seen it before. I knew it had a connection to my Granddad, Eric Flynn, because he also grew up in a Chinese POW camp, but I’d forgotten that he was actually cast in the film! It was overwhelming to see a close up of his face at the 1h 10m mark

One Battle After Another will probably be the first film that I watch multiple times at the cinema. I love it so much. I’ve listened to 4 hours of podcast discussion on it already and I have 3 more podcast episodes on it to listen to after I rewatch it. #LastFourWatched

This international break has gone by so slowly! I haven’t been able to run for over 3 weeks due to injury, then illness, then concussion - I banged my head last Monday and I’m still getting headaches, but I finally felt well enough to go and see One Battle After Another this evening. What a film!

This will hopefully be the last time I stack a Suma order into this pantry. Realising I’m autistic has led to me deciding to move out of my mum’s house, and that should happen before the next Suma order in 3-4 months. It’ll be a massive change for me, but I’m feeling really positive about it
