I am just back from a day spent on a sunny, sandy Oregon beach. A day that I hear much of the country is shivering in unspeakable cold. I even road my mountain bike on the hardpack sand of a nearly cloudless shore. A perfect day.

Solid kiln-dried hardwood. ​Painted with four coats of TARDIS blue flat paint. ​"Little Free Library," "PULL TO OPEN," and window panes are printed on aluminum stock. Stainless steel door handles and a steel and Mylar badge. ​Includes a solar-powered top lantern that also illuminates the interior.

The carved horse I created using mostly Cedar fence posts. The saddle was hand-tooled leather. The blonde trim pieces were White Ash. I found the neutral background photographs I took when I was featuring this build on www.tardiscabinets.com

Coffee shop coffee just tastes better. I do have to sit by the window to keep an eye on my bicycle, as I still don't have a lock. (I ordered one from Amazon, but it never arrived)

I made a monterey jack/panko bread crumbs baked chicken with spiced baked potato wedges and green beans dinner. I mixed some siracha with mayo for a dipping sauce. I'm not used to cooking just for myself. In Wales I had 4 including myself. It tasted good and I have leftovers! I'm lonely.

Southerndown Beach The shingle beach, located along the Wales Coast Path in Glamorgan, is officially known as Dunraven Bay. However, the wave-washed beach, popular with fossil hunters, is better to known to Doctor Who fans - as "Bad Wolf Bay."
