Sanford and Son and Taxi are still laugh-out-loud TV, imho. The acting and writing on late-70’s-to-mid-‘90s sitcoms will never be seen again and deserves its own Smithsonian wing.

Philly fans just don’t trust the Sixers, hence the no-shows. The only way to reverse it is to start consistently winning. Can’t have the team built around a player whose health is always an issue and whose availability is always in question.

Embiid’s final statement (from AP story) after this sweep was that his knee has been “figured out.” Period. He’s been an all-star, MVP, gold medalist, and a very likable guy (no small thing in pro sports these days). No one is to blame. But it’s time for him and the Sixers to move on.
