I miss him more than words can convey. I have tried to commission artwork to portray my sorrows, and no artist can do my grief justice. It is a lonely feeling.

I am not the man I was twenty summers ago. Nor am I the man I was ten summers ago. Or, even five. And I most *certainly* am not the man I was thirty-five summers ago. I do not necessarily think that I deserve to prove this to be true, but it does not stop me from yearning for the opportunity.

Someone is on my mind tonight, and I absolutely cannot stop thinking about them long enough to fall asleep. I wonder if they are up thinking of me as well. There was a time where I would have known the answer to such a question, but it has long since passed. So, I am stuck wondering.

My family is near complete once again. To say this is all that I have wanted for the past number of years would admittedly be an understatement.
