In one form or another they've been in my life for almost three decades now. When I play an RPG, even if it's not as Jiynx it's a little unconsciously as *A* Jiynx variant. It's a name I've used for MMO characters since EverQuest and D&D characters since high school.

Jiynx is a baroness. The title is old and has very little weight in the current oligarchy. She didn't know until she and Starborn attended a society event and they were announced as "Baroness Fletcher and her escort Falling Starborn of The Winded Peaks", much to his amusement.

Extremely sharp. She is very observant and has extraordinary recall. She learned some mnemonic tricks to improve her long term recall if she specifically puts in effort - associating information with musical sequences. It's not photographic memory but it's impressively accurate.

It's been a slow burn over the months since they got together, and she's been avoiding the word in her own thoughts, but has reflected on what's developing. They haven't said it yet but they've acknowledged that they're both in unprecedented territory for each of them.
