In Din's Champion, you can now knock a monster off of something and they will take fall damage. So while testing to see if it worked, a monster immediately knocked me off my test platform and I plummeted to my death. Player falling damage definitely works! :) #indiedev

This week working on Din's Champion has been full of rabbit holes. I try to reproduce a crash, I find a different one. I look into a specific slowdown and I end up optimizing a bunch of other things. I literally fixed some bugs because not finding something was slow. #indiedev

Testing a dynamic game like Din's Champion is challenging. I try to die to spawn a gravestone, an avatar spawns to help. I work on torch effects and it starts raining. I test mining ore effects, monsters attack my lifestone. Theses are just examples from today. :) #indiedev
