Got our first decent snow of the season last night. Light, fluffy and gorgeous.its makes me so happy. The pressure and silence during a snow fall makes me feel so peaceful.

"Wisteria" 11 x 12 acrylic, liquid acrylic and colourd pencil on tan toned paper. Thinking this might be the start of a new series. There are so many pretty flowers that it would be fun to explore. And I'm always happy to paint horses.

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. Remember those who have been killed, injured, abused, tortured for being who they are. Remember those who have taken their own lives because they could not live in a world where they could not be themselves. Remember them. And make the world remember them.

Holiday card for this year. Inspired by seeing the northern lights a couple months back. 9x12 acrylic, coloured pencil on illustration board. I’ve been doing a seasonal card every year since the 80s. The practise of exchanging cards seems to be dying off but I still enjoy doing it.

Here’s a pic done during the Covid shut down. I’m currently working on another pigeon themed painting. I love pigeons. They get so much hate but I love their soft delicate colours, their swooping flight and often funny antics. 11x14 acrylic on illustration board. “Urban Dragon”.
