"Small Wonders: Fire Bellied Toad" I love fire bellied toads so this was a ton of fun to paint. The colour sample is Lunar Sea. 3.75 x 2/5 avcrylic, acrylic marker and coloured pencil on paint sample card.

Got our first decent snow of the season last night. Light, fluffy and gorgeous.its makes me so happy. The pressure and silence during a snow fall makes me feel so peaceful.

"Wisteria" 11 x 12 acrylic, liquid acrylic and colourd pencil on tan toned paper. Thinking this might be the start of a new series. There are so many pretty flowers that it would be fun to explore. And I'm always happy to paint horses.

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. Remember those who have been killed, injured, abused, tortured for being who they are. Remember those who have taken their own lives because they could not live in a world where they could not be themselves. Remember them. And make the world remember them.

“Like a Bird on a Wire”. 14x20 acrylic and coloured pencil on illustration board. I love pigeons. I know lots of people hate them but I love their soft colours, cooing voices and often silly antics. Title is borrowed from one of my fav songs by one of my fav singers. Anyone get the reference?
