Seeing as I now have a bit more free time, I'll be trying to work on two pieces at once. Not sure if I've got the steam for it, but there's only one way to find out! Means I'll need twice the ideas, I guess. I'll eventually swap those one out for studies, but I need to get used to it first.

In honor of the new year, I'm starting mine off with a gigantic mug of tea, cake and not getting out of bed the whole day (home is clean, I have proper food). I'll finish at least one of the sketches tomorrow, start working on a new piece, and then try to catch up on the stuff I never finished.

The sketches are taking a touch longer than expected, mainly because I actually ended up being busy, but also I want to go back to doing actual anatomy and facial construction, instead of bullshitting 90% of it, so it's taking unbearably long to do anything now.

Finally packed up my work equipment (I had no idea I had so many cheap logitech mice that I totally did not steal from previous jobs). This time tomorrow I'll be unemployed! Coincidentally, I queued up a ton of study material I want to go through. I think I'm a bit more excited than I should be!

Time to go take a nap, and then I'll do some more grayscale portraits. If anyone drop a ref image and a general idea of what you want. I'll do one or two. (I've kind of got nothing to do today and I'll have eight hours to kill tomorrow). I'll probably hunt for a chalky brush in krita, too.

Okay. Time to take a break from DS3 again. Absolutely hate how all of the later game bosses require pixel perfect dodges and parries, while pressing their offensive with zero breathing room. Excuse me, I'm a strength build - it takes me five business days to wind up an attack that deals 200 damage.

I'll probably do a few more of these over the next few days. I kind of want to try and nail down a process that's not too much of a pain, and try to use gradient maps to color it. At a glance, Krita has waaay nicer gradient maps than CSP (WHY IS THERE NO TRANSPARENCY IN CSP'S GRADIENT MAPS?)

I'm feeling the holidays, and the holidays are making me lazy. No art for today, and tomorrow I'll either draw the shrimp dominating someone, or giving them a weird mouth-tail blowjob. Today, however, I just want to eat tiny bits of smoked meat with rye bread, and watch youtube.

I think I'm going to cook up a new character today, and let you guys decide what to do with it. I'm thinking busty shortstack, because why not, but everything else is pretty much up in the air. Could be a gobbo, a demon, maybe a djinn. Right now I'm just going through pinterest for inspiration.
