I’ve managed to accomplish -1.5% on my game development progress this week. I accidentally broke my ice texture across the board. My game is set in Antarctica so you can understand the gravity of such a screw up. Anddd that’s gamedev, so it goes!

Progress on my game so far this week 0.02% Hoping to get some good development time this weekend, it’ll be too cold to do anything else!

Pretty soon AI is going to start sampling “art” that’s made by itself and it’ll become a slush of information that feeds off its own mediocrity.

Decided to finally make a game design document. It’s super helpful to set a projects scope as early as possible. Don’t let it just be amorphous ideas trapped in your head for too long! (I wish I did this a year ago)

My game is set in Antarctica so that just means I gotta learn how to do snow displacement in Unreal Engine. Won’t stop until I figure this out.

I make games mostly but I dabble with photography and videography too.

Today I spent 2 hours animating in UE5 then 1 hour editing the footage, all for a 12 second video clip 99% of gamers will probably never find. I do it all for the lore.
