Plenty is going on currently behind the scenes.. not many developers I have seen choose to use techniques from early games and tend to go for just making everything low-poly. However, I've decided to use more stuff such as mixing 3D with 2D!!

I like the choice of having realism in a 3D game with 8-bit graphics but is blinking too much? I feel like people may find characters blinking randomly a bit creepy.. Maybe it's because of the face though.

Extremely rough design for RPG-based combat currently you will click a character's stats which will select them, then you can pick actions to use on enemies with the select above them (very short and sharp actions will be required as the game will switch between shooter and RPG combat, this helps!)

Hi everyone, I'm happy to say that despite my silence I have been working hard.. I am now working on Proxima on the new engine (GoDot), and gave Neli some better colours Will post a clip of the NPCs soon, they are quite reactive to Neli while also being very basic. 🙃 #proximagame
