No surprise, Hyper Light Breaker was a huge disappointment, a roguelike with extraction mechanics, combat that wasn't fun. They built an audience from a pixel art 2D handcrafted masterpiece game and decided to not cater to that audience then course correct and the result is a game with no identity.

Gave the demo of this a try, it was decent but is one I'll probably only bother with in co-op with friends.
