She'd quickly nod once more, tightening her hold on Malon's hand. "...Yeah. Taking things a little slower would be nice."

"... I'd really like that. Honestly, I would." That sounds...romantic? Linkle definitely isn't complaining. She definitely wanted to sweep Malon off her feet one of these days.

"Well... Yeah! Haha.." Linkle nodded towards Malon! "I'll focus on protecting you, and you'll be like a guide!~"

"Yeah! I mean...between the two of us? We're both protected, and we don't get lost!~" That water temple stood no chance against them! At least, that's what Linkle seemed to believe!

"Really? I'd really love that!" She seemed to perk up quite a bit now that she had Malon's hand! "We make a really good team!"

That's definitely true! Despite that, Linkle found herself reaching for Malon's hand. "Yeah, haha.."

Linkle quickly shook her head! She didn't seem to think that the ranch hand would be in the way at all. "Not at all! In all honesty....I think I'd be lost without you?" She'd admit, followed by some slightly nervous laughter.

Linkle's eyes seem to light up as soon as Malon got it, turning onto her own side to properly look at Malon. "I'd...protect you! And maybe get you some training on the road?"

Linkle finally glances over at Malon again. "I don't know if I could ever word it properly? I mean.... It's great having you around, and I think it'd really....suck if you weren't someday?"

"Oh! I'm okay! Just..." Linkle does her best to stammer out a response, eventually averting her gaze. ".. I'm just glad that you're here, is all."

Linkle found herself staring at Malon again, speaking up after a few moments. "...I think we'll figure it out."

"Yeah...Maybe there'd be a switch somewhere?" Linkle thought about it for a moment...There had to be a reason it was mostly dry inside, right? "We'll have to take another look soon."

"I....Uh...Huh??" Most of that seemed to fly right over the hero's head... "I guess!" .. She's playing it off, though it seems. "Who...are you?"

Linkle's face only got redder as Malon responded! "My prettiest? Haha.... I'd really like to attempt that Temple again soon..That lake isn't going to fix itself, you know?"

"All this multiverse stuff is definitely pretty confusing...I mean...Where even am I right now?"

"Just....How nice you are." Linkle would lay back with Malon, turning to face her....There's quite a long pause before she speaks again. "....and uh...pretty."

"Haha...I guess so!" Linkle laughs a little bit before stretching.

She's staring at Malon. Still staring. ....Still staring. ".....Wait, huh?"

Upon hearing the compliment from Malon, Linkle's face would only get redder. "You...You really think so?" She'd ask, eyes practically lighting up.

"Mm...I'd just deal with it if it ever came down to it!~ After all..." Linkle flashes a big grin towards Vaati! "You never know who'll be inspired, you know? Maybe someday I'll inspire someone to give up being a villain!~"

"Well..." Linkle glanced up at the sky as she thought about what to say next....Once she thought of something, she'd turn back to Vaati! "Well, just because you have some darkness...Doesn't mean that you can't change! I mean...Just look at today! We fought side by side, and it was amazing!~"-

Linkle seemed to shrug....It seems like she doesn't know the answer either! "A lot of sacred places are like that....Pretty strange, isn't it?" The hero is already scanning the doors in their line of sight. Just one unlocked door was all they needed! "They're usually tied to puzzles?..."

Linkle had just been wandering around when she spotted a deer wandering around...Part of being in the wild so often meant she often had to hunt for her own food! After tracking it's movements for a good while, she managed to land a shot on it's leg... "Shoot...It's moving just a bit too much.."-

"Oh? Well...." Linkle seemed to smile as she thought back on it...This was a story she always loved to tell! "While I was little, I would always be told about the stories of Hyrule's legendary heroes...And all the good they'd do." She looks towards Vaati with that same smile on her face.-

Once Linkle is back up, she watches as Malon easily clears the jump! It looked easy enough, thankfully! The green hero takes a step back before sprinting towards the chasm! She leaps into the air, and lands with a roll! "Woah, it is! I wonder if there are any keys here..."

"I wonder about that, actually..." Linkle kneels down, placing a hand on the ground. "If it is related, it happened way before we got here." Completely dry...And yet it still had water in other places? Was that the lake's water? "I do think it's related, though...Erm..But yeah! Let's go-

It takes a good while for Linkle to arrive, the guards allowing her inside with no hesitation thankfully. Linkle knocks on the door before opening it slowly. "Princess?"

The hero certainly didn't mind Vaati showing off like this! As long as he didn't get himself hurt, of course! "Oh! You want to know about that? Haha...It isn't the most interesting thing." Linkle would admit as they slowly moved away from the remaining monsters.-

"I'm hoping that we can!" Linkle takes note of a small pool of water at the bottom of the central room...Was this place drained too? "Mm... It's all dry, though..." Linkle seems to think to herself, glancing up, and then glancing around... "I have a feeling that we'll be thankful that we're-

"They do! But I can take them!~" The hero responds rather confidently!

"You are? I'm so glad!~" Linkle already felt like she should take Malon out on more adventures! But first...they needed to learn more about this temple. As she pulls herself up, she follows just behind Malon. "That's a good question..."

Linkle joins Malon by the ledge, breathing out a sigh of relief before carefully examining their surroundings... The ancient structure only fueled her with more curiosity and excitement! "This is incredible..."

"Haaah...Yeah! I'm alright!" Linkle takes a moment to catch her breath before looking to Malon with a small smile on her face! "It seems like this really is a temple!" She'd glance around for anywhere that they can stand on...There is a ledge, but Linkle completely misses it.

Linkle definitely wouldn't have made it on her own if Malon wasn't here...Once inside, it initially becomes almost pitch black, Linkle glancing up only to see a light up above... After a moment they resurface in a corridor, Linkle gasping for air as soon as they do!

Was Malon looking at Linkle's legs? Not that she'd noticed... "Three!" She jumps with Malon, the two making a splash as Linkle begins swimming down towards the opening!

"Ready when you are!~ Jump in on the count of three?" It didn't look too deep, thankfully...If it was, then they'd need something to weigh them down! Like iron boots! ..Why would someone make boots with iron? Linkle didn't know.

Each step is careful....Linkle doesn't want to slip and bring Malon with her, after all! Once they're on the edge of the water, she looks down. "There's an opening...I guess we'll be swimming after all?"

The hero nods, looking down at the ground....It still seemed...moist? Is that the right word? The ground seemed wet...It definitely drained recently. "Right, and it looks slippery! So...watch your step, okay?" Linkle warns Malon before beginning to step forward.

"Yesss....Let's go, then!~" Thankfully, Linkle was still carrying her sword on her back! She'd never leave it behind, just in case!

There's quick nodding from Linkle! She definitely wants this! "If not us, then who else will save the lake? I...I want to keep you close, too! I want to keep you safe."

Wait...a temple?! Linkle's eyes seem to light up in that moment. She's grasping at Malon's hand pretty tightly right now. ..She wants to explore the temple. "..Can we go look? Maybe the water is in there!"

Linkle manages to look away from Malon long enough to get a good look at the drained lake....She has a weird feeling about this. "....What's that?" Linkle asks while pointing at a structure near the bottom, the only place still submerged by water.

"Well, you sort of have to be when you're facing danger all the time!~" SHe looks back once she hears Teto speaking! A cave soon comes into view... "There!~ Dodongo's cavern has the best rocks!"

"...I thought there was supposed to be more water?..." Linkle says rather quietly, glancing around the area...It was like the lake itself was drained?
