The Detour is worth the journey.

Forgiveness isn't for who you forgive. It's for yourself. It's about letting go of pain, not forgetting what caused it.

Revenge is a dish best served incidentally, and without any intent.

The grass is always greener when you're not looking at it.

As trees fall without the wind, so too do we without the pressures of life. Even as its gusts make us bend, snap, and shudder- -they strengthen us, teach us, and make us lithesome. For souls grow as muscles do, each fissure encouraging growth.

Peace, treasured vessel. Rest. Mend. You have done well.

O' My traitorous mind. This thing is but a seed. Potential. It is neither certainty nor demand. It is, at most, a question. And how it is tended will determine the answer.

Breathe deep. Be still. Accept your weakness. Know your strength.

Such pretty agonies this little vessel can hold. It was always doomed to break, but you can fill the cracks with something stronger.

I have yet to discover a method of remaining stable while exporing new possibilities that doesn't occasionally require me to be wildly unbalanced and need correction. As a creature of singular focus, I struggle with juggling life and new passions. All things in good time. We've got this :)

The soul stirs once more-

So travel with me, as travelers do! To light, to life, and all that comes with it! For without this journey, I could never long to return again- To to the silence and clarity of the space between stars.

I love them, too. Despite the wounds I bare. I love them as I love my companions, all, in the space between stars. For the contrast, the resonance, the dance- And O' how we dance!

We'll meet again, this light and I- For though I am blessed with this journey, I cannot know my I'm way without those flickers in the darkness. I will always be drawn to them, and so I will always return.

The Time has come... But in truth, it was always here. Another orbit, another flash of inspiration, and I sail. I go, again, into the space between stars.

Passion has drawn close once more, but my flyby will take me far afield- Into the great black ocean once more. I will feel its heat on my back as I go, and carry the burns it leaves with pride. Return with me. Another journey, another star. We will return, soon enough.

Come with me to this place where gods of certainty dare not tread. Return, adrift in endless dance. Ever searching. Embrace with me- -certainty in nothing but the infinite, the struggle, and the cycle. For while there may be a star that shines brought enough, it cannot burn forever.

O' what serendipity-! This conflux-! This pattern I see with eyes that gleam in the spaces between stars-!

Passion. Joy. Longing. Fear. These and more. Urgent, eager. Flaring with life and certainty. They consume as much as they reveal in their brilliance. As lovely as they are destructive- -but we are creatures of the spaces between stars. Return with me, again. Return, and see. There is more.

I am blessed again with the clarity of silence and travel. To chart the course, to judge each suggestion by it's merits, and to explore unbound by fulgence. To see through eyes unblinded through paths unclear. Ah, I am blessed again to return. Always, I will return.

Ah, I am blessed again with a journey through the space between stars, where light grows distant and cool. Flickers in the darkness that guide the way, yet lack the intensity to demand. Suggestions, rather than rules.

Peace to those of us that gaze ever into the past and doubt. Retrospect is as warped a perspective as the one you live in the present. It simply shifts the focus elsewhere. While it allows you to see what you could not before, it can blind you to what seemed so apparent in the moment.

I find myself paying for Peace with Passion, and for Passion with Peace. The more of one I seek, the less of the other I get. When I have one in plenty, it seems common and insufficient. Ever gazing beyond the fence with longing.

["The question is not whether you will love, hurt, dream, and die. It is: What will you love? Why will you hurt? When will you dream? And; How will you die? You cannot choose the destination. Only the path. This is your choice."]

Sometimes, a hypocrite is a hypocrite. Sometimes, a hypocrite is simply someone in the process of changing.

Expectations are like fine pottery. They are beautiful! They inspire! Yet they are delicate. The harder they are held, the more likely they are to be broken.

Instinct should be considered as an opinion; neither as moral mandate or corrupting influence.

Cold logic is as dangerous as hot emotion. Both are prone to shattering, and the shards cut deep.

My body is an instrument. Everything else is just details.

How do I contend with something I believe to be true? No matter that I know it does me harm. No matter that it brings me pain. When I have faith in agony and fear of the unknown? My grasp either too firm or too gentle. Ever do I feel the answer slipping between my fingers.

Crumbs. Always crumbs. Why is it always crumbs?

Good Morning Friends- Friends of Friends- Kind and Wounded Souls. Which are thee? You may not see. But in your heart you know.

Must pain always be the best motivator? Do joy and wonderment not exist only in contrast to their opposites? I choose to hope for a perspective in which the opposite seems true. Suffering, pain, anguish, anxiety. All of these exist, but only in contrast to their opposites. A glass half full.

"Nihilism" is like "Racism", but for existence. Yeah, that seems like I should post it online.

Each breakdown is not a failure, but an opportunity. Not all is preserved, but neither is all lost. Melted down. Reforged. Renewed. Born again. The same material. A different form. The mix is different this time. Impurities removed. Impurities added. Experiment. See what works, Soul Smith.

How could there not be?

I am, every fragment of me, whole. In this puzzle made of only one piece, can there be space for anything beyond?

I mourn those little flickers of thought and wisdom. A spark, realization, wonder, and gone.

Use the flow of the river for a time, if you must. Beware what lies beyond the next turn. Be willing to go to the shore and walk awhile. It may seem slower in the sort term, but there may yet be a route that suits you far better.

We tend to lie to ourselves before we lie to others. All justifications and deceit flow from that tainted wellspring. It will carry you easily to be certain, that winding river. You will have little control when winding river turns to rapids. Nor when rapids pour over into the abyss.

The yawning abyss before you, no easy path forward. Within is the capability to build the bridge that will allow passage across. It may take a little help, though. Perhaps from those on the other side? Perhaps from those not yet crossed? Many hands makes for lighter work.
