We're having a dress-down day at work and were supposed to wear jerseys but I don't have one any more. Do you think
@sandfallgames.bsky.social
would make this so I can wear it next time? Maybe with other names I don't know how popular it would be, but everyone I showed it to said they'd buy it, lol

Day 7 I'm grateful for medical professionals, especially ones who are cool with me being a big terrified baby sometimes.

Day 6. Cats are fucking great. Dogs, bunnies, fish, sneks, axolotls, etc. are also super wonderful, I'm just partial to cats. Heck, in a way, I'm even grateful for every scratch.

This gratitude bullshit: Day 5 I know this seems like a repeat, but I am truly grateful to be able to make music with so many talented people. Sitting in with the whole WMGSO tonight was an honor and a privilege.

This gratitude bullshit, day 4! Friends with whom I can make music. ZD hosted a jam for several hours yesterday and it reminded me that letting loose and just doing the thing is one of the most fun things.

This gratitude bullshit, Day 3! I am grateful to have a friend I've known since 3rd grade. Friday 11/3 was his birthday, and I hope he had a good day!

Should I call this "30 Days of Thanks?" or "This Gratitude Bullshit?" Either way, Day 2 is easy, too! 5 years ago today I got my cancer excised. I had literally the easiest cancer possible, but it still made me decide to approach life a little differently, and in what seems to be a good way

Rel say "this gratitude bullshit works," so why not go around again? 30 Days of Thanks, Day 1 is easy. I am grateful for 20 years with my wonderful partner! Life is easier when you get to hang around with someone you like most of the time.

Just because I don't fully understand something doesn't mean I can't still be supportive. Shit don't need my *approval* to be valid.

I did a lot of driving yesterday, and it really reminded me how much I love autumn. The trees on the mountains through which the river near me cuts looked *especially* beautiful. Also, apple cider <3

It's nice how often people don't believe me when I mention my age.

Finished reading "We Sold Our Souls" by Grady Hendrix last night. Good book. It's nice to be getting back into reading. I missed it.

Time for my annual reminder: It's okay to not like something and still not give others a hard time for liking it. We can have different tastes. Someone can like PSLs or pineapple on pizza, etc. Just be nice and take a pass THIS is the stuff we can totally agree to disagree about! It's really okay!

Sometimes it's not even needing to ask for help. It's just having someone else on your side present to help you talk through it.

Past few days posed some challenges, but also I got to be a goober online with dear friends over the weekend and do something new with Rel today. Even when things get rough, there are things like that to keep me going :)

It's harder to be positive some days, and that's okay. It takes a lot of work sometimes. You're still doing your best and your feelings are completely valid.

Every time I get imposter syndrome, I like to think about the times I've some of my favorite musicians voice *their* imposter syndrome, and it reminds me that I'm probably pretty okay at [thing] precisely *because* I keep doing it despite thinking I'm bad at it. Keep going, friends!

Stinks that I still need to remind myself sometimes that the past doesn't define me. Would things have been different if, say, I hadn't gotten 2 concussions in 48 hours in high school? Definitely. But I'm making the most of things and I've found myself in a wonderful place with lots of great people

Sometimes I see stuff on, like, Facebook to the tune of "share if you [did thing] and survived!" and it always bothers me because if you didn't survive, by definition, you can't share. It makes me sad because people died doing that thing and here someone is acting better because they didn't die.

Hey friends! Remember: as the sun begins to set earlier and earlier, take special care NOT to assault anyone! Did an opportunity present itself? Did a woman *exist*? Doesn't matter! Go home! Have an hot cocoa or something! Don't be a piece of trash! You're better than that!

Sometimes "your best" is doing nothing so you can recover from all the other stuff doing, and that's valid. The rests can be just as important as the notes.

It's okay to be bad at something you want to do. Bad is just the first step along the path to good. Keep on going, you'll get there eventually.

I couldn't sleep last night. I only just woke up properly. The first time was to call off of work, which reminded me to remind everyone else that it's okay to actually use your PTO sick benefit if you have it. I can't imagine not availing yourself of an earned benefit. Take care of yourselves!

Hello, BlueSky! I think it's appropriate to make my first post here your periodic reminder to go see a medical professional about that thing that's been worrying you. Early detection saves lives, and it would be nice if you were all around for a good long time 💜
