You cannot grow without admitting fault. Obscuring your faults won't fix them. It causes them to fester. This applies as much to real life as it does to your growth as an artist. It is not a sin to admit when you've been wrong- especially if it grants you the opportunity to do better.

They told users that SOME features could kinda be replicated in other programs, but supporting the software doesn't reflect their investment/gamble on AI. "Screw the skilled customers that built our success, we've decided they're not worth it and will ditch them for a general audience." Rage.

Some skinchangers (and a bear) from Artisan Guild (and a werebear from @reaperminiatures.bsky.social) for a D&D game today! This was my first "GOTTA RUSH MINIS BEFORE A SESSION"- it was hard to figure where to polish/skimp and still feel comfortable enough to offer to our DM. But it was a blast!

Spent my life training to be a creative one-woman army, only to face the fact that suits will tolerate barely functional products slopped out by AI instead of a caring expert. My hobby is affected too- GenAI 3D modeling, painting, and printing is on the horizon. So the skill becomes unremarkable.

I realized that *people* made Avatar: the Last Airbender and "art" wasn't just for FiNe ArTIsTs with European accents and black turtlenecks who have more discerning taste than I do. And nearly two decades later, these adorable little mushroom people had to suffer for it.

Twice today, I stumbled upon some of the first artists that inspired me to start drawing- which changed the entire direction of my life. Complete strangers had an impact they're completely unaware of And there's probably folks like that in your life, too. Tell them! Without expectation of response.

Ten years ago today, this little bean overrode my plans to meet some other kitties and demanded that I take her home with me. (She didn't stop screaming until she was allowed out and immediately hopped into my lap.) What a wonderful decade. Thank you for picking me to be your mommy, Moose the Cat.
