Killerie was originally born to the Engineer caste of shedlings, a subspecies designed to analyze enemy technology. With no such technology to examine, Madeline instead allows Killerie to dismantle some of the items in their own home... even if it means being short a microwave for a while.

Madeline, Killerie's mother, has always been aware that a little rebellion is healthy for a young child. Killerie, "unbeknownst" to her mother, often spends long hours at night with a flashlight, reading books after bedtime and feeling very sneaky about it. Art by Pichuun!

Furniture can prove an obstacle to a growing bug, but it never seemed to stop the creative shedling growing in Madeline Parker's home. Instead, Killerie would simply drape herself onto the couch cushions and read as long as she wished.

As a shedling, Killerie rarely ever needs to wear clothing. That said, she absolutely loved putting on a bandanna every now and then when she's feeling fancy.
