Fantastic visit this morning at the North Atlantic States Carpenter Training Center right here in NH. Union training means good jobs, real skills, and fair wages. I’m proud to be working alongside our brothers and sisters at the North Atlantic States Carpenters Union.

We need term limits for Congress and the Supreme Court. Fresh perspectives matter. When power goes unchecked for too long, accountability erodes and dysfunction takes over. Real reform means changing the rules, so our democracy works for the people, not entrenched power.

Today, we remember the 6 million Jewish people and millions of innocent children and families murdered in the Holocaust. We honor their memory by living up to our own responsibility to stand up to antisemitism and hate in all its forms and to defend the dignity of every human being.

My heart is with Alex Pretti—a 37-year old fellow American who served our country as a registered nurse in the intensive-care unit at the Veterans Affairs hospital in Minneapolis and was shot dead by masked federal agents today. 16 years ago today, the Supreme Court took a wrecking ball to our campaign finance system. It won’t fix itself. That’s why I’m fighting for a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United, ban corporate PACs, and restore commonsense safeguards so that Granite Staters decide our elections.

President Trump’s reckless threats against America’s most important allies — our NATO allies — are making our country less safe. That’s why I’m leading a bipartisan bill to prevent American taxpayer dollars from being used to attack our NATO allies. Let’s get this done and stop this madness.

Last night was a good night for New Hampshire small businesses. This is what commonsense governing looks like: lowering costs, cutting senseless red tape, and equipping hardworking Americans with the tools they need and deserve to meet the challenges and opportunities of the AI revolution.

President Trump slapped hardworking Americans with nearly $200 billion in new taxes with his unconstitutional and chaotic tariffs. I am fighting back in Congress and the courts because YOU deserve better.

Today, we are reminded of the powerful words of Dr. King: the greatness of America comes from the freedoms that founded this nation.  Dr. King believed that love should have the final word, and so do I. I will keep doing this work with everything I have—striving to be first in love, always.

Dr. King asked us to make a career of humanity, and he showed us that doing so requires empathy. It requires understanding. Above all, it requires love. It was powerful to join the Community Church of New Boston to honor together the extraordinary life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

If President Trump is serious about taking on transnational criminals cartels, why did he pardon one of the world’s most notorious  narco-traffickers? And if he’s serious about preventing overdose deaths across America, why did he make the biggest cuts to healthcare in American history?

We need term limits and a binding code of conduct and ethics for the U.S. Supreme Court. Justice Thomas has been on the bench almost as long as I’ve been alive — that’s not good government. Congress can and must do something about this, and I’m working to get it done.

President Trump needs to focus on running America — not Venezuela. America cannot afford another forever war.

Immigrants make America and NH stronger. There is no ceremony more powerful than a naturalization ceremony. And this morning at our federal courthouse in Concord, I was truly honored and deeply proud to be among the first to say thank you and welcome home to our newest fellow Americans. 🇺🇸

We are not a country that detains human beings in industrial warehouses, but the Trump Administration is trying to make us one that does. I’m demanding answers and fighting back.

Public safety in America depends on public trust that law enforcement decisions are made based on the facts and the law without fear or favor. Nothing undermines that trust more than a President who uses the DOJ to reward anyone he calls a friend and target anyone he perceives to be a foe.

Our federal correctional officers in Berlin have some of the toughest jobs and most important jobs in NH. Our bipartisan bill is about ensuring fair pay for Granite Staters and ensuring our federal prison is properly staffed with the professional workforce it needs to operate justly.

No matter the threats, I'm not backing down. I took an oath to our Constitution, and I intend to keep it.
