Last day of my trip. I’m taking myself to fondue!

Zurich is very pretty.

I struggle with reality and knowing what is real and what isn’t. Mainly with people and relationships. I have a very hard time believing people’s intentions are genuine and real when it comes to me. It’s a weird feeling to second guess every interaction you have.

I know it means “entrance” but I’m also 12 years old. It is Ein Fahrt!

I am at the “I just need to get home” point in my trip. I’m annoyed and overwhelmed. I’m taking myself to a nice Swiss meal this evening but that’s it. C’est tout.

Had a nice panic attack before the gig. Too many people, too much happening, too tired, etc etc. I’m thankful the gig took me out of it because I was second from bailing and I really didn’t want to. It’s hard when you’re alone in a strange place and you don’t really know anyone.

Suede is incredible live. The amount of energy Brett puts into the shows is amazing. I got to touch his very sweaty back. Bless this man, he works so hard for the fans.

I have absolutely run out of spoons to deal with people on this trip.

I have a situation happening at home and I hate that I have to rely on someone to handle it on my behalf. Nothing major and my best friend is helping me with it. Just feel a bit out of sorts being unable to do anything.

I appreciate the Brits and Europeans saying to me when I worry about walking anywhere quickly. “You can take your time, it’s ok. No rush.” I feel like I’m always rushing. Sometimes it’s nice to have a reminder that my ass is not on fire and unless I have a train to catch, I can slow the fuck down.

I just want to say, Suede really take care of their fans. I’ve never really experienced a band that caters their set lists to who is in the audience. They knew diehards were there last night and they pulled out some rarities.

Vulnerable moment. It’s nerve wracking to not know the language when you’re traveling alone. I definitely don’t expect people to speak English. I guess I hoped my French would come back to me. I was able to communicate a bit but it’s hard.
