I’ve been staying in Dyffryn Ardudwy at an artist residency, gathering inspiration for an art exhibition at Oriel Tŷ Meirion in April to August. The exhibition is based on the Taith Ardudwy Way, an ancient pathway. This is the first part of the walk, visiting Bryn Cader Faner, a Bronze Age cairn.

Here’s my acrylic painting ‘of my ice skating crow called ‘Ice dancer’ - Eric had big plans of skating in the Winter Olympics someday.

I did this acrylic painting for a winter exhibition (still on) at Ty Meirion gallery, in Dyffryn Ardudwy, Wales. Mari Lwyd is a wassailing folk custom, where a horse skull is carried from door to door in Wales, whilst the party sing and dance.

Winter will be here soon and today felt like this 😍 🍁 🍂 🐿️ This is a painting I did called ‘Foraging’ The weather was starting to turn and Mr. Nibbles could sense autumn in the air. He spent a happy afternoon foraging for acorns, ready for the winter ahead.
