Laurels for P2, part 6: Tony Brooks I'm drawing every P2 finisher in the F1 WDC and 1959 brings the most bronze driver to never be a bronze. Student of dentistry, son of a dental surgeon, started in his 20s, drove for Vanwall. He died in 2022 at 90, vindicating his choice to not race unsafe cars.

Laurels for P2, part 5: Stirling Moss I'm drawing every 2nd place finisher in the F1 WDC. This drawing kicked my ass, but Stirling Moss will always be one of the best to never win a title to me. 4 times in a row the 2nd place finisher, the last of them losing out due to defending his rival. A gem.

Laurels for P2, part 4: José Froilán González I'm drawing every 2nd place finisher in the F1 WDC, and in 1954, the same year he won Le Mans, González finished 2nd. 75 years on from his landmark first F1 championship race win for Ferrari, I would love to see him celebrated for his accomplishments
