Unreal.. So this admin didn't actually calculate tariff + non-tariff barriers to derive a “reciprocal” rate, they just took our trade deficit with each country and divided it by the country's exports to us to arrive at what they claim is their effective tariff rate. Idiocracy. Not serious people.

I don’t think most people understand how complicated blanket tariffs really are.. many finished goods have components from multiple origins.. simple example is whiskey.. if I get glass from China, corks from France, liquid from Canada, but I bottle in US for export, what then?
