Then I dreamed that Michael Burnham learned how to use magic and a black and purple dragon was upset that this went against tradition so he was going to kill her but she cast silence and neither of them could fly anymore and she escaped on foot.

The weird dreams keep coming. Last night I dreamt I had a light blue latex T-shirt and it inflated like a balloon and it was a windy day so I had to be careful to not get blown away.

As a Millennial, I watch most things with captions. And the worst one is "Speaking Foreign Language." From a narrative perspective, maybe the characters don't know what language it is but Japanese and Spanish and Russian sound different enough that I can probably at least guess which language it is.

Why is it that when we go to bed on Friday evening it feels like half of the weekend is over already?

Ok, new plan: 1- We get an ocean side hotel room in Hawai’i 2- I learn how to turn into a dolphin. 3- We tell the hotel that I will play with guests as a wild dolphin in exchange for keeping the room. 4- I turn back into a person to keep our food costs down. (Optional) 5- Profit!

So we didn’t get to vote for a new Governor or cool mayor yesterday- the only contested race was for Town Justice. But we voted anyway! For all we know, we won’t get to next year.

The thing I was least prepared for about getting older is how old everybody else gets. My parents are grandparents now- slowing down and turning grey. Aunts and uncles are starting to lose track of where they are. Cousins have moved away and have families of their own. If I could turn back time...

I’ve been contemplating a phenomenon where I feel that some flavors are “low” and some are “high” and I don’t quite understand how it works. Then I was eating something and felt “This flavor is left.” And I’m like WHAT DOES THAT MEAN???

Somebody got me thinking about life sized plushie cars earlier. And that got me thinking about being inside a car and somebody hitting it with a plushie transformation ray so it transforms into a plush car all around you. 
So now I have to deal with strange new thoughts that I’ve never had before.

Mother: Are you sure you want to camp this weekend? It looks like it might rain. Me: That makes it better!

I love it when my car is parked next to my husband’s car because when the mirrors line up it kinda looks like they’re holding hands. ❤️
