Beginning Monday, May 11, seasonal load restrictions will no longer be in effect. Commercial vehicles or trailers with a gross vehicle weight in excess of five (5) tonnes or 11,000 pounds per axle will no longer be prohibited on roads where restriction signage is posted.

On Saturday, I had the privilege of supporting the Kanata North Girl Guides at their Annual Spring Tea. I was glad to assist in pouring tea and serving guests throughout the event. Many of the girls hail from Ward 5, and the care and effort they put into hosting hundreds of guests was great to see.
