Ok, I figured out the secret to getting up early enough to put on makeup before church. I've been looking after my friend's cat, and this was a morning where he had to get a pill 15 minutes before food, then another pill after food. So I took my makeup with me & put my face on while we were waiting.

After two 97F days, I finally managed to install one of the window A/C units. It hasn't gotten bad enough that I have to install the other one in my bedroom (basement apartment ftw), so I'm just going to stop with one and feel good about myself.

My falafel disintegrated in the oil (😭), so I scooped all the mush out onto a plate and just put the veggies on top for a falafel salad/hash kind of situation.
