This idea that Starmer is the worst PM in the last 20 years is nonsense. At least 4 Tory PM’s are considerably worse and have done more damage to our country. One actually broke our economy after being in power for only days. We compared her to lettuce. Some people have seriously short memories.

I always watch the Super Bowl half time because more often than not they’re good fun. Do I listen to Bad Bunny? Not often. Do I speak Spanish? Nope. Did I enjoy the spectacle and vibe of his performance. Yes, it was great.

As an author with a new book out (A Murder of Crows, out now, buy it). It’s really hard to need to promote my work while watching people try to burn the world down for their own ego.

Occasionally, I get messages from Americans asking me about the book in which I killed off their president by having him eaten and replaced by a monster. The number of messages has increased. I’m sure that’s a pure coincidence.

I find it amazing how a certain group of people want to paint London as a lawless hellhole and everything about the city in reality shows the exact opposite.

The Welcome to Derry episode “The Black Spot” is heartbreaking and horrifying. There’s a lot of horrible stuff in the previous episodes, but that’s another level.

First full week back of writing since before Christmas and I did 15000 words. Not bad at all.

When I was at school we learned about the rise and fall of Nazi Germany, and one question that was brought up was “didn’t people stand up against them?” And a lot of them did, but it turns out that some people really like the taste of fascist boot leather. Just thought about that, for no reason.

There are a lot of awful people in the world and many of them like to tell everyone else how awful they are. Just so you know, if you’re using laugh reactions on news articles about what happened in Minneapolis, you’re one of the awful ones.

While Stranger Things season 5 wasn’t as strong as the best the show had to offer, I liked the finale quite a bit. Issues aside, it was a good way to end the show.
