Art has helped me hugely this year, but my pieces were deeply emotional and I had to step away from it. Feeling mush better in the world now so I’m getting back to this old paint by numbers to start dipping my toe back in.

Not looking for sympathy it’s many years ago and I never knew him. It’s just interesting how the impact of his death must of had an impact on my development and personality. I was known as a quiet child, maybe I felt my parents pain and didn’t want to add to their stress.

Went for chippie tea by the sea with Darren, the water look so good but I had no swimmers so I went in wearing my undies, which came off as soon as I hit the water ; wrapped around my wrist so I can swim naked. I do this almost every swim now. Best swim of the year so far 🙌🏻 💙

Less opportunity to be naked today on my walk. But I found a quiet spot off the track with amazing views. Got naked and had lunch there. Amazing!!!

Yesterday’s hike was the best get. No one around and was naked for over 3 hours! Amazing day!

In general I think this has been the best and most consistently freeing week I’ve have in 14 months. I wake up with more energy, my heart doesn’t feel heavy or sad, my thoughts aren’t regularly being dragged to the past. My grief is lighter. It’s amazing after being to hell to feel so free.
