Barbara G. Walker was a fantastically creative and prolific scholar, author, teacher, and designer, who made significant contributions to the history and practice of contemporary knitting. We want to acknowledge and mourn her passing this December at the age of 95.

Another new addition to the #CKCCommunityCollection is this #crochet #doll. This piece is inspired by the Izzy doll, a lightweight doll that was originally designed to fit in a soldier's pocket and distributed to bring comfort to children in war-torn and crisis zones.
