Final one from the 1954 Preview Annual and a rather festive looking Pier Angeli. Pier made two early films with Paul Newman: Silver Chalice and Soembody Up There Likes Me. She also made The Angry Silence with Richard Attenborough. Pier passed away in 1971 due to an overdose aged 39.

This week I had the Robert Plant to Jonathan Richman box out and played this lot. #cdfriday

My wife and I hve been watching all 110 episodes of Northern Exposure at teatime over the last few months. I'm going to miss it, an excellent ensemble cast with some great reoccuring guests too. It even had a young Jack Black as a schoolboy in one episode.

Final postcards of the day. Terence Morgan & Richard Burton. Despite his full name Terence Ivor Grant Morgan was an English actor. I was watching 'Mandy' (1952) yesterday and he plays the angry father. Burton was of course, Welsh and one of the cinema's greats.

Back to vintage postcards. Hazel Court & Vincent Price appeared together in Roger Corman's The Masque of the Red Death & the Raven. Court was also in Corman's The Premature Burial. Price was in 7 Corman films including The Pit and Pendulum, The House of Usher, Tales of Terror & the Haunted Palace.
