Angry at my Flex Plan. I have dental work next week. The dentist wanted half down when scheduling two weeks ago so I used my Flex debit card. The plan wanted proof of payment, said the receipt alone wasn't enough, then rejected it when I showed the bill for prepayment. Not covered if not done yet. 🤬

Over 33 hours of work in two days. I need a good long nap. 😴

I knew the regime's claims of higher tax refunds wouldn't apply to me. Income was up barely over $1K w/zero allowances and no big changes. My refund was $400, woo! 🙄 Not being able to itemize unreimbursed work expenses hurts me. Notably I drove 20+K miles for W-2 work @ 48¢/mile. IRS rate was 70¢.

A mustachioed dude in aviator sunglasses almost hit me with his sporty, slate blue BMW convertible while driving on the interstate because he failed to look in his blind spot. On one hand, WTF? On the other hand, as I’m in the middle of an early morning three-hour drive, I’m awake now.

Heading to the Des Moines area for work in the morning, which will be about a six-hour round trip. Can anyone please suggest some new music to check out while I'm on the road? While not genre-specific, I tend to lean towards music with a good groove so I don't fall asleep at the wheel.

I made the mistake of looking at my work queue to have an idea of my workload for Friday, after being off since the beginning of last week. Four jobs to do, covering two states and one of them is 2.5 hours away in SE Iowa.
