Nerds!! Vintage 1978 Doctor Who Jigsaws! These are so good. The boxes are a wee bit sun bleached but they're still great man! £25 each or all 4 for £90 🙂

In honour of World Goth Day. Rook, a card game from 1924. Absolutely stunning, those illustrations man! 101 years old, In incredible condition. I cannot remember how much it is, you'll have to come and have a look!

I also took down the thrift shop sign before moving into the new shop, and revealed this ghost sign, turns out we were a blouse specialist all along! Not sure how old it is, it was a bookshop before we moved in! #ghostsign #edinburgh

Last Saturday, we held a (sort of) human chain! It may not have been quite as planned, however! I had a great time, the sun was shining and loads of you lovely lot came out to help! I would like to say a huge thank you to you all! Next time you move house, let me know, I owe you all a favour 😂

I filmed the journey from the old shop, to the new, it took me 4 minutes 33 seconds to walk, and I'm not a fast walker. But!! Imagine a thousand items passing hand to hand along this route. What a beautiful thing! 2pm Saturday, help us form a human chain!

We started moving some boxes at the weekend! Unfortunately, we didn't take any photos so here's an artistic interpretation of events. Big thanks to one of our heroic board members for doing the heavy lifting. (Ian, if you see this, I know, I'm sorry... I just can't draw, please don't fire me!)

I think I'm in love. Absolutely obsessed with these french children's magazines from 1953. The covers are just *chefs kiss* They are in absolutely flawless condition, the crossword hasn't even been filled in!

My Favourite dinosaur is the Ankylosaurus, everyday looks like a struggle, like they really aren't having a nice time, just waiting for that sweet sweet extinction level event, and I can really vibe with that. Anyway, what's your favourite dinosaur? Need justification please. 1/2🧵

Advent again! So, turns out I'm incapable of posting 1 thing every day... Needless to say, I won't be doing this next year For the 19th, 20th, and the 21st we have a genuinely gorgeous hand made glass & silver bracelet charm, 1980s yoga book & flaming lips Christmas album. What a haul!

Advent!!! So, 6 games, 4 dates. Don't care. Here's the 15th, 16th 17th and 18th. We have a selection of boardgames from the 60s/70s very cool, I'm a big fan of Camelot and Kimbo. Mouse trap looks complete, but I've simply not got time to go through it, been inundated by your generosity!

Advent 14!? I was gonna do another group post. But, my inner teenager demanded a post of its own. So here's a limited edition box set of Tenacious D's pick of destiny. It's all there, holographic cd case, pick, tarot cards and poster!

I'm so behind on the advent, I'm piling these together 😭 But, there's a theme! Royal merch! First up, representing the 11th is this holographic Queen Lizzy thing. The 12th a selection of Princess Di memorial plates The 13th is some more traditional tat, a royal wedding biscuit tin. Huzzah!

It's not the 10th! But today It is! A stunning 1970s Snugkoat faux fur jacket. My personal journey for a fur coat continues, this is slightly too short on the arm for me. But maybe yours ends here! It says size 16, but it's more like a 14. Yours for £25!

ADVENT number 5! Dylan from the magic roundabout plant pot. We have other magic roundabout plant pots, but. Let's be honest. Dylan is the best. Look how sad he looks, I can only imagine he's playing requests, and someone he used to respect has asked for Wonderwall.

Advent Calendar Day 2! (Quiet) You'll also get an exciting image on the 'door'. Shop furby isn't for sale, we're currently training him up to tell people they're barred when they haggle. So far he just says Yummmm... It's a work in progress.

Literally every year I think, next Christmas, I'll do an advent calendar of assorted junk for the shop, obviously I forgot again. BUT. IMA do it anyway. So you'll get three today, two tomorrow. Then we're on track (there's gonna be days I forget totally, and for that offer no apology

Love this 1930s map of London. It's in pretty good condition, there's a small tear along one of the folds but, is in pretty good condition really. I'm a big fan of the specific cinema section!
