In other news, the first final draft of The Dead and the Damned should clock in mid February. It's been too long getting this thing finished but fresh eyes have really revitalized it.

We have entered a new era where some of my favorite musical artist are putting out new songs but then the album art or #music video is loaded with #GenAI slop and it's really killing my soul because both Atreyu and Carpenter Brut have gone this way. New tracks sound great, but I've massive respect.

I love when you get a notification like "YOUR PACKAGE HAS BEEN SHIPPED!" but then you look and it just says "pending" for 3 days but then you get another notification like "OMG UR PACKAGE IS ALMOST THERE" but you look again and it just means somebody printed the sticker to put on the box.

I saw a vertical video today of some massive 3d Printed character sheet w/ spinning dials and immediately felt old. 3D printing is great, but too many use it to generate banal future-trash. I really wanted to like Hold Your Breath because there are not many horror westerns to begin with, especially good ones. Unfortunately despite the great performances and costuming, this leaned far too hard on mental illness tropes when it could have been great as a supernatural thriller.
