Pretty small patch, looking at it. Seems DirectX 12 is coming in the future for VALORANT (that won't change much besides how the game runs for some people) but there will be an option to choose between DX11 and DX12. Anyway. 💤

Yes this patch has some lines removed. Some of them are reused for different contexts. The ones that are truly deleted are a few of the "Last kill enemy MVP" lines, which are taunty. Nothing too big. (You can find the deleted ones on K.A. by searching for "enemy MVP")

New mode: Retake A fast, round-based 3v3 bomb mode where the Spike is already planted. One team holds the site post-plant; the other must retake and defuse. Sides swap every round. Selectable randomized loadouts escalate as the match progresses.

Also a new door material on Sunset (and Glitch), not finding all the places it's in because it's just a door. Although it's under the "Plummet" codename (allegedly the new map's codename), not worth the effort, it's just a door lol
