I’ve dropped Hyrule Warrior since reaching credits, haven’t touched Pokemon Legends much in a few weeks, and I’m finally losing steam in Hades II. Need something to play next.

I finished Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment. It’s a good game but I have many issues with it. But if all you wanted was a canonical story about the Imprisoning War and for the game to run at 60fps, they absolutely deliver on both and you’ll enjoy it way more than I did, as I suspect most will.

It’s insane to me that TES:V Skyrim was one of the biggest games ever and yet a sequel is most likely not coming until nearly TWENTY years later. Holy shit, dawg.

Been playing Age of Imprisonment. I like it so far, but not as much as AoC yet. The game seems like it was made as an apology for AoC, but as someone who actually liked AoC I’m left a bit burned by some decisions. Gonna wait until I beat the game to explain further in case things change but yeah.

Back from work, grabbed Hyrule Warriors on the way there and can finally sit down and play it.

This is gonna get buried under that GTAVI delay announcement but wow I forgot this game existed. I don’t think it’s coming out tbh, have we ever seen gameplay and not just “in-engine footage”? Shame. A Captain America + Black Panther WWII game sounds amazing.

They saw all of those people “fixing” Baxcalibur’s design 3 years ago and said “damn well do it ourselves then.” I like his base design enough but yeah this is what he always should’ve looked like.

December 10th lol leads more evidence to the fact that Z-A was finished a year ago and that this DLC was done months ago. Glad I don’t have to wait long tho. Looks fun. And yeah it also means I just have no time for Metroid Prime 4.

Finally got the true ending of Hades II! I don’t know what changed from the previously ending with the recent patch but I much enjoyed the story, though I do prefer the one from the first game. But otherwise this game is fantastic. It doesn’t surpass Hades 1 but it’s on par with it imo.

The new play activity check in the Nintendo Store app is cool, but a bunch of my digital 3DS games I purchased post-2018 are missing for some reason. Namely the 3DS Kirby games, Kid Icarus Uprising, Monster Hunter 4U, and Dragon Quest VIII. I don’t know how to fix that.

I think I’m 2 runs away from reaching the ending of Hades 2, though I’m not 100% certain. Gonna try and knock that out tomorrow before I grab Hyrule Warriors on Thursday. And if there is more left, I’ll leave HW on the backlog for a day or two until I finally reach credits.

It’s very funny that some people’s reactions to this are “So are people NOT allowed to dislike games?!” because they agree with the reviewer and also hate Warriors games. If this review was about Souls games instead there would be a much harsher reaction lmao.

They went nuts with monetization to capitalize on whales, and new content slowed down to a trickle as they added almost every Pokemon already. I really only play the game on vacation trips now, there’s just not much else to do otherwise.

Okay maybe I’ll check out Dispatch at some point. Sounds like people really like it.

Wait what do you mean Age of Imprisonment is out in 5 days??? That game really snuck up on me. Mostly due to the rather poor marketing. Let’s hope they just have secrets they want to keep and that this isn’t due to a lack of faith in the game.

I think I’ve run out of things to do in Z-A. The Infinity Royale is repetitive, completing the dex isn’t as fun with so many being locked to trade evolutions, I have no interest in grinding research tasks, and some of the endgame side quests ask a little too much.

Dexit. If Dexit didn’t happen then people would’ve found Sword & Shield a fine if very safe Pokemon game. Instead Dexit lead to the loudest and angriest I’ve ever seen any gaming fanbase pretty much ever, and Sword and Shield’s reputation was tarnished. Then Pokemon just became cool to hate.

…Wait did they actually just patch the ending after all of the complaints online? I’m confused by the wording. Maybe it’s a good thing I dropped the game before reaching the true ending then. Though they even added a way to review the new ending changes.

Mario Kart World diehards are gonna use this data as “proof” that Sonic Racing sucks but in reality it’s that no one outside of Sonic die hards is dropping $70 on a spin-off. Especially with how many other high profile releases there were in September.

I beat Pokemon Legends Z-A. The fact that I just beat a sequel to Pokemon X and Y is still insane to me, and this game for the most part delivers. It has so much subtle fan service for us Kalos fans while also doing its own thing with the new battle system and structure. I love this game.

No spoilers but mega Feraligatr got replaced for worst new mega design. What on earth were they thinking with one of these lmao.

I feel like such a sweaty tryhard fixing my team’s stats in Z-A with giving them proper natures and trying to fix their EVs. But I want my team to be optimal, dammit! My Alakazam does not need investment in its attack stat and my Garchomp does not want an attack-lowering nature.
