In these last moments, here are my biggest hopes for Arirang: MORE. HARMONIES. Jin’s lower register. Taehyung’s lower register. Instrumentation that makes me go ‘oooooooo’ like the first time I heard nuts’s bassline. Traditional instruments woven into sick beats like daechwita/haegeum.

I wonder if BTS feel like overachieving parents on Christmas Eve, impatient to reveal all their surprises. Maybe I should leave out iced americanos and, like, 37 packets of ramyeon just in case.

An Arirang ticketing timing recap: I was ~20000 in the queue for an 80000 seat stadium. Took about 45 minutes to get in. All VIP and floor seats were gone, but there were plenty of 100 level. The prime 100s (long side of the stadium, center) ranged from 775 up front to 250 in the back row.
