If Caitríona doesn’t win all the awards for her finale performance, the system is rigged! She played it PERFECTLY. I felt every emotion of a soulmate grieving - the gut wrenching sobs, how she kind of goes numb and just stays on his chest, to sobbing again that night. I will never shut up about it 😭

6) The nostalgia + callbacks this ep were so well done. Not only the flashbacks + S1 opening credits!! But in Jamie x Claire's words + mannerisms. Jamie bowing to her. Claire kissing his shoulder. Sweary!Claire running off when she's told to stay put 😅 "Mo chridhe". MULTIPLE SIGNATURE HEAD TOUCHES!!

1) Our two leads have proven how perfect they are for their roles + no scene exemplifies that more than the bed scene, the last they shot together. Only they could take a dialogue heavy, 8min scene with no music or anyone else + make it truly captivating. To Caitriona + Sam, BRAVO. And thank you 💜💜💜

4) One thing I've ALWAYS loved about Jamie x Claire is their way of silently communicating through just a look and how they've done so since even before they married. It's such a simple and yet effective way to connect them without needing any dialogue, I'm so happy to see it back in full force!!

1) I think after the last several eps, it's imperative I begin with: CLAIRE IS B A C K!! See what happens when you DON'T side-line THE Outlander?? This felt balanced and productive. Every convo had such meaning behind it. Credit where credit is due, DG 2) OBSESSED with Bonnie Wee Gunman's smile 😂
