Happy #FossilFriday, we had a lovely day yesterday at our #Ediacaran fossil site at Inner Meadow yesterday collecting some morphometric data and recovering ash loosened by the winter. We had to remove some of the ice, both of which preserve beautiful natural casts of fossils

The paper follows recent palaeobiological work that provides evidence that it was probably a recliner. dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.bi... That paper is largely excluded from recent discussions of Ediacaran ecology for reasons that i can’t fathom. Too inconvenient perhaps?
