So last week, a while after using it, I cleaned my H₂O₂ still and a little bit of liquid from the condenser stack dripped on me, missed my labcoat and hit my jeans. That’s mostly water, so I put that piece of glass up, took the pants off, flushed them and my leg with distilled water. Problem solved.

I read a lot of academic papers, and sometimes I think I would be a pretty good researcher and then I always get to the section that begins: “all statistical analysis was conducted in R” and I sigh and go back to spider solitaire or trying to explode myself with hydrogen peroxide.

The desk facing me has no power, someone filed a workplace resources ticket, and a technician finally showed up to fix it by: 1. unplugging my desk, *while I was working*, 2. plugging the power lead into the other desk, and then 3. wandering off without a word So anyway, how are *you* all doing???
