It’s always frustrating when disabled gamers advocate for accessibility in a game that has intense difficulty, because everyone always assumes we want an easy mode when we actually just want features that make the game accessible.

Haven’t been too active in the community lately, because it has just been hard to navigate the industry & continue making progress in my career. Forever committed to accessibility in gaming, but sometimes it can be frustrating when I do not make any progress & continue to grow.

Started recording new episodes for my disability podcast! I have decided to re-launch it after careful consideration. I hope you all will decide to give it a listen when I upload the pilot episode in June.

After two months of nonstop writing, I have finally finished my autobiography! Now comes the long and arduous task of editing the book.

Found a great new group of friends who are all visually impaired or blind.

Start of the year has been pretty slow with opportunities, but I am starting to finally see some work come my way and that is all that matters. Sometimes things don’t happen when we would like them too, but always remember that when the right time comes there will always be opportunities.

Have decided to revamp my podcast from the ground up since hosting it by myself has become an exercise in frustration. I am adding a cohost who is a close friend of mine and is heavily involved in the assistive technology industry.

I always thought U had to be old to write an autobiography. However, thanks to my friend Macy Lewis I learned a lot of my preconceptions about autobiographies were wrong. I have decided to start working on my own autobiography with the theme being my battle against accepting my disability identity.

My heart breaks for all of my amazing disabled colleagues in the UK. The discrimination and outright hate you are facing from your own government is unjust.

Just had a total Jimmy Neutron brain blast for my game and I cannot wait to start writing for it!

Finally got my laptop back from the shop. I can now get back to writing for my game!

My laptop has been in the shop for a couple days needing work and boy have I felt lost without being able to write for my video game.

It is hilarious that Trump and his Nazi regime want to assess the threat of SSRI and antipsychotics… The only threat would be if you were to make those medicines harder to acquire for the people who desperately need them.

It all happened naturally, but I am working full-time on my RPG video game for the foreseeable future.

Spent most of the day thinking about names for the various shops in my RPG game. Additionally, have started to think about names for the various consumable and battle items.

Treated myself last night to some Omurice and Okonomiyaki as a reward for 28 straight days of riding at minimumthree hours a day for my video game.

Spent this entire week working on attacks for my RPG video game.

Spent three hours today working on ideas for attacks I want to feature in my RPG game I’m making. That was only blade attacks and I still have gun and mace attacks to work through.

That part of creation when you’ve been working on something for hours and then have a brand new idea only to realize that you will have to start from zero because this new idea resets everything you’ve just created. It sounds like I’m complaining, but I love when this happens.

My current routine right now… Wake up and eat breakfast, make a cup of coffee, and then spend five hours working on my game lol.

Fuck it this creative writing project is now officially a project. I guess I am going to pursue this idea of mine for a RPG game as much as I can.

Not sure why I love it, but there is nothing I enjoy more than creative writing projects, even if I never end up doing anything with what I create. I love the research that I have to do & I love creating all of the lore and characters. Right now I’m working on the plot synopsis for a RPG game.

I know I have been quite silent here, but I have just been spending the holiday season with my family. I hope you all have a good final day of 2024 and I’m wishing you all the best in the new year to come.

Just taking it easy for the rest of the year until 2025 get started. With so many health emergencies happening within my immediate family I really just want to take this time to hold my family close and enjoy this time of the year.

Just viewed the wrapped for my Podcast this year and am blown away with how much growth we experienced even after all of the problems I have encountered this year. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for making the Podcast such an overwhelming success!

So after two weeks of being in the hospital, my sister is finally getting discharged with a clean bill of health!

Sorry to not be that active currently, but my sister is having some severe medical problems so taking time away from social media to be with her.

Thanksgiving just isn’t the same nowadays after losing my grandfather due to cancer 4 years ago to the day. Growing up, I was oblivious to how the holidays could ever be a sad thing for anybody. However, I understand fully now why the holidays are not always a merry time of year.

So with today’s Sea Of Thieves update, I can finally announce to the world that my name is in the credits! As someone who grew up playing Donkey Kong Country and Banjo Kazooie it still doesn’t feel real to have my name listed in a Rare game.

So excited for my participation in Access November this Wednesday for Sick In The City. I will be taking part in the careers panel discussing my journey into becoming an accessibility consultant.
