I’m almost done season 2 of Succession. It wasn’t sure about it at first but by the season 1 finale, I was invested. And now I have a weird attraction to Kieran Culkin’s character even though everyone in this show is a slimeball.

The jays and chickadees have been very polite at the bird feeder today. I took it down before the hard winds last week, and just put it back up this morning. Before, the jays would have it emptied in a hour. But they’re not such pigs today. There are about 5 jays and 5 chickadees, taking turns.

Already got Whammed

A lot of little things today. Changed the batteries in both the heat pump remote and the upstairs thermostat that is no longer hooked up to an oil furnace but does tell me the time and indoor temp. Made veg and noodle soup with turkey stock I froze after thanksgiving. Studying. Laundry. Dishes.

I’m not sure what happened to my hand but it sure hurts under my index finger down to my palm. Exactly how I click my mouse hurts. Possibly the start of carpal tunnel?? Fantastic.
