Rissa, 2023 2025 was a slow year for me. I had rotator cuff surgery and a very long recovery. Then we decided to move to Michigan, so for the past couple of months we’ve been packing and preparing. Once we are settled into the new house (near Grand Rapids), I will definitely resume shooting!

Light projection with Emma. I use a macOS application I created called Projection Studio, which lets me do things like add layers of light patterns such as the round spotlight atop the newspaper image.

Rey, 2025 5 second exposure, though it’s subtle. I pulled the tulle off during the exposure so you can see a tiny bit of motion blur on the right side. I subsequently practiced this more and learned I need to start dragging the tulle immediately, otherwise it looks too sharp.
