This week’s issues are wildly different. Alan Davis returns for an issue to wrap up a three issue crossover where Thor leaves the team for a long time and then Olivier Coipel makes his Avengers debut to start Johns’ best known storyline, The Red Zone!

Looking back on it, the Scott Lang/Jack of Hearts conflict doesn’t quite work but it is interesting. Jack starts out angry and bitter and gradually grows more accepting, likely as he’s going through the stages of grief regarding his own condition.

Despite what the tabloids say, I have no children and can’t speak to what custody hearings are like. But can judges really make custody decisions without both sides being allowed to make their cases? And for a year? None of this makes sense to me.
